Any small setup habits before a run? like tapping the vise, checking the zero three times, or wiping the table even when it’s spotless? grabbing coffee? tugging the coils?

I always wipe the table even if I literally just did it. No chips, no dust, still gotta do it... feels like part of the ritual before hitting start.

I always re-check zero. Every single time. Doesn’t matter if I set it five minutes ago, I’ll jog back and double check before hitting cycle start. I’ve scrapped enough brackets over the years to be paranoid. I also kind of hover for the first 30 seconds of the cut like a nervous parent.

I’ve got a whole mini-routine at this point. I wipe the table even if it’s cleaner than my kitchen counter, tap the vise once, then check zero like I don’t trust past-me at all. Then I grab coffee before I touch cycle start. If I skip any of that, something feels off.
