Winter calibration habits in your shop

With colder weeks coming in, I am wondering if anyone else sees their machine calibration drift faster than normal. Some setups get moody the moment the shop feels like winter.

If you adjust your process during this season, what helps the most in keeping tolerances steady? I would love to hear how you deal with the temperature swings.

Winter makes me slow down more than anything. I noticed rushing jobs first thing in the morning causes more variation. Now I plan accuracy work later in the day after the shop has warmed up. It is not perfect but it reduced surprises.
