which do you prefer to use aluminum or brass?

Been messing around with brass and realized that its easier to tap than with aluminum. is this right? Is it expensive to use brass, i don't think a lot of people use it. Just curious.

Not in the choices but steel is the cheapest and strong. alum's lighter and easier to work with, as for brass, it's just pricey.

alumionium is king for mass production because it's lighter, cheaper and easier to work with, as @aspenmountains said. but that doesn't mean you should chose one over the other because that's what all the cool kids are doing these days. Go for what you find best for you and your use case
