Maintenance routines before the year ends

December is usually the season when machines start giving us that look that says please tune me up. If you are planning any calibration or accuracy checks before the calendar resets, what made your list this year?

Could be a routine you always revisit or something your machine hinted at during a cold morning start. What are you planning to adjust before the year ends?

My list stays short because time is tight. I focus on things that affect accuracy right away like backlash checks and probe verification. If something feels off during startup, it goes on the list. I’d rather spend a couple focused sessions now than chase problems in January.
