I need a good model for custom drill bits

I want to make custom drill bits, but shops require a solid model. SolidWorks can't handle it, and my CNC can't run the flute path, can anyone help with Num/Numroto design? or what do I do
 
That's a common roadblock in custom toolmaking! General CAD software like SolidWorks can't handle the complex geometry of a drill bit's flutes, and a standard CNC mill can't run the synchronized path needed to grind them. You're on the right track to think of Numroto and NUM. These are specialized programs designed specifically for tool grinding, and they generate the precise models that shops require.

So I think your real options here are to either learn a specialized program like Numroto to design the bit yourself or find a custom grinding shop that has the right software and a CNC tool grinder. I think most good shops can take your design parameters and generate the model on their end.
 
I'd start with Fusion 360's manufacturing workspace. It's better than SolidWorks CAM, especially with helical toolpaths IMO.
 
When designing a unique drill bit, sketch out all the details. Be sure to include the helix angle, flute depth, and tip shape. This helps anyone recreate it down the line. A quick, dimensioned hand sketch works wonders.
 
Don’t beat your head trying to force SolidWorks to do something it’s not made for. Use a grinder software like NUMROTO or a specialized flute generator. In the meantime ask the shop exactly what format they accept (STEP, IGES, 3D tool path file, etc.). That gives you direction on what model to send.
