Why ballscrews are superior

Ballscrews are by far better than the traditional ACME screws, period. Ball screw in cnc is way more efficient (about 90% efficiency) they reduce waisted energy and allow for lighter motors. They also minimize backlash, ensuring precise movements, which is crucial for CNC accuracy. There are two types of ballscrews, rolled and precision ground. Rolled ballscrews are way cheaper than precision ones but are less accurate, and precision ground ballscrews have a great accuracy and minimal backlash, though they are a little bit on the pricier side. yeah, youre right man, but they're not always the best choice for every setup, cos they require proper lubrication and maintenance, and if debris gets in, they can wear out fast.
