Thinking of getting back into CNC machining

After retirement in 2005 I took machining classes at a local VoTech school and built a shop attached to my house. I had a Novakon bed mill (Mach3 then PathPilot) until 2018 when I sold it to a friend intending to buy a mill with a tool changer. Then Covid happened, and all the shows where I had been exhibiting my builds (model engines) closed down. I lost interest in working in the shop for the past 5 years. Now that some shows have reopened I'm thinking of working in the shop again and acquiring a new CNC mill. Plus I may try clockmaking too.

Currently I've been working in the shop cleaning up and reorganizing . I covered the concrete floor with plastic tile, which took quite a while as I needed to move all the equipment from side to side. I have two unfinished projects that I'll restart, and if my enthusiasm is back I'll shop for a mill. Two options are the DMC2 Mini (inexpensive but small), a Tormach, or possibly a used Haas min.
