Uhhh after a long year of machining..... I’m realizing I’m not as excited about it as I used to be. Like the work still gets done and I still care about quality, but the part of me that enjoyed dialing things in and solving problems feels quieter lately.
But I can’t tell if this is just normal end-of-year burnout, like i'm tired and stuff... or a sign that I need to step back and reset for a bit. Machining has always been something I took pride in, so noticing this shift caught me off guard.
Have any of you hit a point like this after a busy year, and what helped you get your enthusiasm back?
