Help needed on this hot rolled iron

I'm planning to do a 3x3x0.25 inch hot rolled angle iron on the walls, but is it gonna be strong enough for a compact driver of around 80 lbs.? I'm not really a math whiz so I don't know if this is good to go or a hazard, and I cannot like confirm my idea or anything for the lack of a chart. I think it should work but can you guys confirm first if it will really? I just don't want to make some waste and f up just because I acted so much like a know-it-all.

A 3x3x0.25 inch hot rolled angle iron should be strong enough for a compact driver around 80 lbs, but it depends on the length of the span between supports and how you're mounting it. Angle iron is pretty strong, but if it's just hanging out there unsupported, it could flex or bow, so as long as you're attaching it well at the ends and spreading the weight across multiple points, it should work fine. g'luck
