I have this Mazak VTC-300C and my issue is when after a few tool changes, it ran a bit slower. but when I speed things up, I get ATC rotation error.
there's no info on the manual about this so i'm here to check if anyone got the same error before and what's the best thing to do?

Had a similar issue on my VTC, usually it's a dirty or misaligned proximity sensor on the ATC arm, or lack of grease slowing things down. Also check the solenoids and air pressure, iIf you've got the alarm code, I can help cross check it.

Yeah, Code 341 usually points to a hang-up during arm rotation. I'd start with checking sensor alignment and give the whole ATC arm a proper clean and lube.

I'm with @xerxes. Error 341 often points to a problem with the ATC's speed feedback or a mechanical binding. The fact it runs slower and then faults when you speed it up suggests the motor might be struggling or there's increased friction somewhere in the carousel mechanism. I'd suggest thoroughly cleaning and lubricating the tool changer pot and carousel slides. Sometimes old coolant and chips can really gum things up. Also, check the tension on any drive belts related to the ATC rotation. If that doesn't clear it, you might be looking at a worn bearing or a failing encoder on the ATC motor. It's not explicitly in the manual because it's usually a symptom of wear rather than a direct sensor fault.
