Can SMTC be removed to fit into a 90" doorway?

guys, quick question for anyone who's moved a VF 2 (around 2010 model) into a tight space, has anyone successfully fit one through a 90" high door? the spindle height looks like it'll clear based on the info I've found, but I can't get a straight answer on the 30+1 side mount tool changer SMTC height. Has anyone tackled this before? and can the SMTC be removed to help get it through? I've got more than enough space inside, just worried about making it past that doorway.

Hmm, I doubt it will fit a 90" inch door. What you can do is to just disassemble SMTC then reassemble inside? Which place is it anyway, are you sure there's no other way in?

Thinking about getting a VF-2 through a 90" door? It's about 84.1" wide with the 30+1 SMTC attached. It should fit, but it's a good idea to double-check the measurements just to be safe. If it feels too snug, consider removing the SMTC,it's definitely possible, but make sure to follow the manual or consult a technician.

I believe you can pull the SMTC off without too much drama if clearance gets tight. But make sure you've got a hoist ready and tag everything before you lift it.
