found a BPS 1054C CNC, is it valuable?

I just snagged a storage unit at an auction the other day, and buried in the back, I found this beast. It's labeled BPS 1054C CNC.

Anyone out there know this machine? What's the deal with it? How much do these things usually cost, even if they're used?

It's got an R8 spindle, which is cool, but the control system is totally unknown to me. Looks like some kind of CNC setup, but the motors have actual knobs sticking out, so I'm guessing it can be run manually too, which could be super useful.

From the looks of it, it seems like a Chinese clone of something, but hey, if it works, I'm not complaining!

Just trying to figure out if I landed on a gem or a paperweight. Any insights appreciated!

Nice find! That model does look like a clone of the Bridgeport style mills but adapted for CNC. That R8 spindle is a plus! Used value depends on condition and controller type, but you might be looking at $1.5K–$3K if functional.

Agreed. And if the CNC system works, even better. These usually go for $2k-$5k used depending on condition yeah. Check if the motors jog and if the control boots, if so, you probably landed on something useful.

BPS 1054C is likely a Bridgeport style clone, R8 spindle is solid, and the knobs suggest manual control is still an option. The value should usually be around $2 to 4k used depending on condition and control setup
