Can't set DATUM on my CNC

I ran into an issue today with my CNC machine. After a tc alarm, I noticed some weird readings. The b and c axes suddenly displayed strange values, like 3000.00 and 110000, and when I tried to manually clock, I couldn't set the DATUM in the DIST page anymore, has anyone else experienced this issue? Any tips on troubleshooting the b and c axes or fixing the DATUM setting after a tc alarm? appreciate any help, as I'm pretty stumped right now

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

All jokes aside, a simple restart could get it back operating well. Turn it off for about a minute and turn it on again. Manyally rehome the axles and see if that works

Double-check the encoder feedback and absolute position numbers for axes B and C. A TC alarm could mess up the saved positions. If things look off, try restarting those axes or running a reference return.

Did you check if all the connectors are seated properly?

Okay, so you saw something like this after a TC alarm, right? First, try turning it off and on again. If that doesn't do the trick, then manually zero the axes. And hey, if DATUM is still locked up, just peek around and see if there are any offsets turned on or if the mode is locked.

Have you tried checking the machine’s reference procedure for those axes and confirming that the encoder connections are secure? If the DATUM function is locked out. it could be because the control does not see the axes as properly referenced. Then restoring that state should bring the setting option back.
